Clubhouse Finally Comes to Android with Invite Only Access

Clubhouse, the audio-centric social media platform, is finally available for Android. The application continues to follow their invite-only model And the first beta version of Android is only available for US users. Users outside of the US can now pre-register the app on the Play Store to receive notifications when it is widely available.

Clubhouse announced the arrival of the Android app in a official blog post. If you have an invite from an existing Clubhouse user and you are in the United States, you can start using Clubhouse on Android. The company adds that it will launch the app in other English-speaking countries before the global launch.

“As we approach summer and continue to expand the backend, we plan to start opening up even more, welcoming millions (of) more people from the iOS waiting list, expanding language support, and adding more accessibility features. so people around the world can experience the Clubhouse in a way that is native to them. “ says the company.

Unsurprisingly, the Clubhouse interface is identical to its iOS counterpart. We installed the application on our Android phone (OnePlus Nord with Android 11) and here are some screenshots:
