Google-owned wearable device company Fitbit appears to be working on a premium fitness tracker. The fitness device is called Fitbit Luxe, and Roland Quandt from WinFuture has leaked images of the next product.

Fitbit Luxe: a premium fitness tracker?

Taking a look at the leaked images, there is no denying that the supposed Fitbit Luxe looks premium and visually pleasing. Count with one slim design with stainless steel housing. Additionally, the Luxe has traditional buckles on the straps. This design reminds me of recently released Oppo band style.

Unfortunately, at this time not much information is known regarding the specifications. The report states that the Fitbit Luxe will equip an OLED screen. Also, it adds that the specs may be similar to the recently released Fitbit Ace 3.

As you would expect from a fitness-focused wearable device, it won’t be surprising to see the usual health features. This includes heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and numerous sports modes. Unfortunately, Built-in GPS may be lacking in action. The report mentions that you will have to use an assisted GPS that relies on your smartphone for tracking.

Judging from the images shared, the Fitbit Luxe will come in three color variants: black, gold, and silver with an orchid strap. There is no information on pricing and availability, but it may be released soon. Stay tuned for updates. We’ll give you more details when Fitbit makes the device official, hopefully in the coming months.
